KSD to use specialised cars in fight against criminal

King Sabata Dalindyebo municipality will be using specialised cars fitted with cameras to catch road transgressors this festive season.
The municipality has also partnered with Micros Traffic Management, which supplied some of the vehicles, to police road for any violations.
This was revealed by KSD mayor Dumani Zozo while unveiling the local authority's safety plans for the festive period.
He said the cars will also come in with speed points for spot fines.
"Our officers are ready," he told residents and municipal officials.
He said the municipality was also looking at addressing the issue of a lack of parking spaces inside the city of Mthatha.
