At least five people have been confirmed dead in a horrific bus accident that happened on the R61 between Ngcobo and Elliot this morning.
Health spokesman Sizwe Kupelo said emergency personnel are using jaws of life to free the entrapments, “and look for more bodies inside and under the wreckage”, he said.
He added that three helicopters are flying the injured to hospitals.
