Believe it or not‚ there was a time when Steve Komphela used to give interviews that didn’t need a dictionary or doctorate to figure out‚ and a time when he accused Mzansi’s people of lacking patience.
The stat-magicians will tell you that he coached Kaizer Chiefs for nearly three years‚ with most of it being really frustrating for Amakhosi fans who were (mostly) patient with the man.
He eventually stepped down this past weekend‚ after Chiefs were sent packing in the Nedbank Cup by Free State Stars‚ and the internet was already digging up old videos of a time when “pastor” Komphela dropped a sermon on patience.
Oh the irony!
