Police have confirmed that that rioter they shot during the Stutterheim mayhem has died from injuiries.
Ipid spokesman Moses Dlamani said the rioter was shot after “members of the community assaulted a police officer and threw stones at police vehicles.”
The injured person died in hospitalised.
Ipid is investigating.
