WATCH | Jewellery heist at Hemingways Mall

Gunshots were fired inside Hemingways Mall in East London during a brazen armed robbery on Wednesday morning.

Several sources told DispatchLIVE that the armed robbery just took place at Dennis Collins Jewellers.

Cellphone footage showed the robbers exiting and fleeing the jewellery store.

A manager of one of the stores said she was forced to lock herself inside the back storeroom after six gunshots rang out.
