Leaked footage shows shooting in Southernwood robbery where two guards were killed

CCTV camera footage has emerged showing the brazen shooting of cash-in-transit guards during an armed robbery at Southernwood Spar in East London.

Two security guards were killed in the heist. A 58-year-old female shopper was also injured during the shooting at Malcomess Park shopping centre.

The video, which has been was widely shared on social media, shows when one of the alleged robbers opens fire on the guards. The armed security officer then returns fire before falling to the ground.

In the video, no AK47s or other assault rifles are visible, contrary to earlier claims.
