Voters in the mining-wracked Xolobeni area on the Wild Coast have brought change into the political mix.
Activists yesterday said the voting pattern in the recent local government elections had strengthened their anti-mining cause.
The IEC results dashboard showed three red pockets of EFF votes in Xolobeni’s ward 25 in the 31-ward Mbizana municipality.
