Promoter Andile Sidinile says his international tournament which will form part of University of Fort Hare’s centenary celebrations will linger in the minds of people for a long time.

“That is simply because it features not only Sijuta Promotion’s stars but also the country’s crème de la crème,” he said.

Ndongeni said: “It feels good to be back in action. When I am not active I become frustrated. I need to fight regularly in order to gain experience.

“That will help prepare me for any boxer. It does not matter who I am fighting, the bottom line is to get inside the ring and face someone in my weight division.”

Vetyeka was pleasantly surprised by the news. “It is good news that I am back in action but I am hearing this for the first time from you. I have been in the gym since and I will be ready to face anybody,” he said.

Khonco, who turns 30 in June, said: “Age is not on my side. I must get busy in these years that I am left with.”
