Full Circle Properties celebrate 1st birthday

Having worked together for seven years, Sean Newland-Nell and Anne-Maree Sweetnam teamed up to form their own company.

Along with their partners Lindsay and Shaun they started operating last year in January from a small office in Vincent.

On November 1, 2020 Full Circle Properties moved to bigger premises at 24 Tecoma Street in Berea and increased their staff complement by four for their growing business.

While the Covid pandemic has seen the closure of many businesses, Sean and Anne-Maree said they had no other option, but to succeed during the trying times.

Sean said: “We worked right through Covid, juggling housework and for Lindsay and I, a five-year-old. It was challenging, but we made it.”

Anne-Maree said the drop in interest rates saw more people buying homes, which kept them busy.

“We have managed to grow our rental portfolio, which has kept us busy. We always aim to put service first as we believe our clients notice the small details.”

Sean added that residential and commercial properties were holding their prices well.

“Our areas of interest range from the East Coast resorts to Kidd’s Beach, Kaysers and even Port Alfred.

“We are not afraid to travel and have significant commercial properties that we manage in King William’s Town and Queenstown for national tenants.”

Lindsay said: “The low-interest rates have generated a fantastic opportunity for first-time homeowners as more people are qualifying for finance.”

Sean added: “People are upgrading their homes. We have not had one single distressed sale. There is still money and opportunity out there.“

Our dedicated team is passionate about the property industry and take a personal interest in the unique situation of each buyer and seller often going the extra mile to find the ideal match between clients, be it a loving family home or an investment property.”

Sean started working in the property development side of the industry and maintains this understanding of how important maintenance and resale value is has helped with branching into the rental side of the business.“

I also come from a hospitality background and this has led to always striving for the best service and attention-to-detail for our clients.“

Having worked together with Anne-Maree for so many years, means we know each other’s strengths and are able to cover our weaknesses. We are also blessed with a dynamic team who has been instrumental in seeing our business grow.
