Advertising Sales Co-Ordinator
POSITION: Advertising Sales Co-Ordinator – Public Sector
REPORTING TO: Advertising Manager
LOCATION: East London
To manage main body advertisement bookings and material.
•Co-ordinate advertisement bookings and material for publication within required workflows and deadlines.
•Follow-up on copy/advertising material from clients within publication deadlines.
•General administrative duties including but not limited to make-up reports, clearing of final charge out report, advertising enquiries and digital filing.
•Monitoring and dispatch ad material to pre-press department with accurate recording and maintenance of ad material numbers.
•Internal and external customer liaison and service.
SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND ATTITUDES
•Knowledge of newspaper production
•Excellent time management
•Good people skills
•Meticulous attention to detail
•Ability to meet stringent deadlines
•Ability to work under immense pressure
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Print Industry
•Minimum Tertiary Qualification
•Knowledge of Ad-Taker and Forum systems
•Understanding of Public sector Procedures
•Ability to meet all deadlines and deliver on key performance areas timeously.
•Ability and willingness to multi-task.
