Though your wings were ready, our hearts were not. As the world faced its challenges, you heeded to the call from above, the timing wasn’t good at all seeing all that we had planned, but the day God set aside for your departure, you moved to a better place. We do not doubt that in heaven you are arguing in defense of children, youth, and all marginalized groups in our society.
You gave your all for a better world and your hard work is cemented in our hearts. Your relentless words of wisdom backed by your faith in God, still echo to this day. You may be gone physically but your spirit and everything you stood for, lives on. We remember your excellence, passion to serve, kindness and mentorship. We thought by now we would be healed, but still we hold on to everything you held dear.
In our hearts you did not die, you multiplied! In each of us there is a CB Nguza living and doing amazing things, in our little corners the light shines. May we have strength to move forward, with the lessons you shared with us. May we be comforted in just having known, lived, worked and broadly interacted with you, and may that be enough!
