Visit 2Swans for the Dennis Collins Jewellers Chocolate Breakfast from 9am in aid of the Reach For a Dream Foundation. The guest speaker is Pete van Kets and tickets are R280 per person.

Catch the Throttle Day fundraising event for a day of family dirt bike fun at Wetherd MX Park, off the R72 on Pontoon Road, from 8am. Enduro loop, motocross track; spit braai, refreshments and camping area available. No licence is required as it is a fun ride.

South African award- winning singer-songwriter and record producer, Zonke, is live at The Venue@Heminways from 8pm. Tickets from R250 per person can be purchased at Computicket.

ON SATURDAY
Enjoy a pop arts and craft market at 6 Trenchard Road, Selborne, from 9am. Entrance is R20 and includes a cup of tea or coffee. Stalls include; Karien Myburgh Ceramics, Colleen’s Corner, Song-of-ruth, Nikstix Creations and many more. Catch the annual Diwali Fair at the Venue@Hemingways from 10am to 6pm. Entrance is R20 and free for kids under five years old.

Visit the East London Museum from 4pm to 8pm for Fine and Fabulous market – History Come Alive – edition. Entrance to the event is free, but there is R10 entry fee for the museum.
