Golf club hosts bridal fair – with a difference
The EL Golf Club (ELGC) is being turned into a magical market place today with the annual bridal fair including more than 50 creative vendors.
Celebrating the event’s fifth anniversary, organisers have worked hard to make it the biggest and best yet.
“Usually the bridal fair is just for brides, but this year we’ve decided to turn it into a bridal and events extravaganza,” said ELGC marketing co-ordinator, Kerri Bayman.
Not only will brides have access to everything they need to plan their big day, but those planning the perfect birthday party, baby shower or bachelorette have a range of services and products to choose from.
Vendors including make-up artists, tent hire companies, gyms, handcrafts, graphic designers, audiovisual companies, photographers, travel agents – and even lawyers – are showcasing their services.
“We wanted to include everyone so it’s not just for brides this year. Although that is still the focus, we’ve tried to include some unique and different vendors and give more local entrepreneurs a chance to showcase their products and services,” said Bayman.
“It’s a bigger event, with a lot more variety and we’ve also incorporated an outside area.”
The fair includes a gin bar and food stalls. Crafts and clothes are also on sale.
The event extends to the lawns where marquee tents have been set up to house stalls.
