Finger lickin’ good times in Cambridge
KFC – fast-food outlet and restaurant, has announced the opening of their new store in Cambridge!
KFC Baobab’s principle officer and managing director, Grant Wheatley said that this new restaurant is a great move for South Africa’s leading quick service restaurant chain.
“Coming into Cambridge is a major milestone for our business - we are now servicing a community of East Londoners who have long been asking for our finger lickin’ good chicken to come to their neighbourhood.”
This new location is situated on Cambridge Square right next to iconic OK Foods.
“We are thrilled to finally see our brand take its position in Cambridge.”
The KFC Baobab franchise now has 14 restaurants in and around the Eastern Cape and values their level of service excellence - from great customer engagement, to serving fresh, hot and tasty meals for the whole family.
“We are a family restaurant and we want people to feel welcome and enticed by our wide variety of menu offerings and choices,” said Wheatley.
“There is something for absolutely everyone. From our breakfasts and coffee, to our lunch box meals, our ever-famous Streetwise range, and of course our well-loved Bucket! We also have innovative burger options, with new variations launching all the time. It really is a treat to come into one of our restaurants.”
KFC has a legacy in South African history for welcoming all people to share in their meal-time goodness – offering freshly prepared chicken, using an age-old recipe, made famous by its founder Colonel Sanders - using the 11 secret herbs and spices so synonymous with the brand.
“Our chicken is one-of-a-kind, there is no other chicken that tastes like it, and it is this unique flavour that keeps our people coming back for more,” said Wheatley.
“We pride ourselves on delivering the best product to our customers and establishing restaurants that leave our customers feeling satisfied and happy.”
