After months of anticipation, Simz Ngema has announced that Dumi Masilela's album, Eternal Crush is set to be released on December 7. It's been just over one year since the late Rhythm City actor and musician was shot and killed in a botched robbery in Tembisa. Ever since the untimely death of her husband, Simz has committed herself to ensuring Dumi's legacy lives. Taking to Instagram in October Simz revealed that she had finished Dumi's album and that she would continue to keep his dreams alive. "Today is a difficult day but I choose to focus on the positive. I’ve finally finished Dumi’s album. It’s been a difficult journey but it’s done! Look out for album launch and release dates. #Uphushiwe is still out on iTunes and all digital platforms.
"For as long as I’m still alive, I will continue to make your dreams come true, only because they are mine too."
Returning to Instagram on Thursday Simz told fans that the wait to listen to Dumi's music would soon be over.
