Trevor Noah's departure from The Daily Show with Trevor Noah has sparked questions about his future, with the comedian saying he is focusing on stand-up comedy.
Trevor announced this week he will leave the popular American talk show after seven years.
“We have laughed together, we have cried together. But after seven years, I feel like it's time,” he told his studio audience on Thursday
He wanted to devote more time to stand-up comedy.
“I spent two years in my apartment, not on the road. Stand-up was done and when I got back out there again, I realised there's another part of my life I want to carry on exploring,” he added.
The date of his final show is yet to be announced, but fans can see him on stage from this weekend.
