Guesthouse owner ‘slags off customers’

AN EAST London guesthouse owner has been accused of being rude to customers and, in the latest incident, allegedly told someone his pants looked like a “used tampon”.

Buffalo City Metro communications director Keith Ngesi said he found himself the victim of Clint van der Westhuizen’s sharp tongue last Sunday when he went to book in a guest. Van der Westhuizen claims not to remember the incident.

“My best friend was looking stylish and didn’t deserve the treatment he received. The place is very nice but my stay was not that great.

“Nothing is going to change, but it’s a matter of principle, people must know the kind of establishment he runs,” Bala said.

Weeks earlier, Van der Westhuizen allegedly told Mtheza Gengele he was a “sh*t motivational speaker”. “After hearing me speak at a function there he said that to me. At first I was angry. Then I realised he did not have a way of talking to people.

“He’s not my friend so he does not bother me,” he said. Van der Westhuizen said he did not remember the incident either.
