Three EC artists up for national hip hop awards

EASTERN Cape rappers, Maxhoseni and Ifani, as well as poet Nkqo, who are known for their Xhosa rhymes, have been nominated for hip hop awards.

The Mthatha-born poet, Nkqo, has been nominated for the King of the Eastern Cape Award for his work in helping aspiring artists across the province. Last year Nkqo won this award.
