Zuma expected at EL wedding

ALL roads lead to East London today as two high-profile Eastern Cape personalities tie the knot.

Former Miss South Africa Teen and Umhlobo Wenene FM host Zizo Beda will walk down the aisle at St Saviour’s Anglican Church in Oxford Street to say “I do” to home affairs spokesman Mayihlome Tshwete.

Tshwete is the son of late ANC stalwart Steve Tshwete.

Guests expected include high-profile politicians and business people such as President Jacob Zuma, Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba and Water Affairs Minister Nomvula Mokonyane.

The reception will be at Gonubie Manor, which is expected to be under heavy security. The traditional wedding will be hosted at the Tshwete home in King William’s Town tomorrow.

Tshwete, who has been Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba’s spokesman since 2010 when Gigaba was still public enterprise minister, is also one of three faces of premium cognac company Rémy Martin. The former Miss South Africa Teen is also a Live Lotto Draw presenter.
