An Eastern Cape policeman‚ Sergeant Linda Mzuko‚ 43‚ was found murdered on Friday evening at his home in Wells Estate in Nelson Mandela Bay.
Police spokesman Captain Andre Beetge said the police officer had been found with several bullet wounds to his neck and body‚ when his estranged wife‚ Neliswa Mzuko‚ 37‚ who works as a command centre operator at the 10111 centre‚ visited him.
“She found his house front door open‚ and on entering made the gruesome find‚” said Beetge.
“Police are suspecting that he was killed the previous night already. Sergeant Mzuko's official state fire arm was missing from his home‚ and is suspected to be stolen by his murderer/s. He was stationed at Bethelsdorp Police Station‚” Beetge added.
