The South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) would like to notify travellers that controlled blasting for drainage is scheduled to take place on the R72 on Monday 18 June 2018.
The blast will take place between 3pm and 5pm along the R72 Section 3 (49.24km) to Section 4 (16km). As a result of this the R72 between Birah River and Openshaw Village will be closed during this time.
“Motorists are asked to use caution when making use of the road,” Mbulelo Peterson, Sanral Southern Region manager said. -- DDR
