Eastern Cape accident leaves one dead, two unaccounted for

A person died and two passengers unaccounted for after a driver lost control of a sedan on the road linking Stutterheim to King Williams Town on Thursday morning.
According to transport spokesperson Unathi Binqose, the two victims were flung from the sedan when the accident happened around 4am. No other cars were involved in the accident.
Binqose said: “There’s been at least one confirmed fatality. It was a vehicle with five occupants and two of them, as things stand, are still unaccounted for - they haven’t been found as yet."
He said the reason they had not found the two missing people yet was the bushy and curvy nature of the road. He confirmed that it was unknown whether they were alive or not but that paramedics were still on scene around 7am...
