WEATHER | Warm day for East London

A warm day lies ahead for East London residents who can expect a maximum temperature of 27°C.
The day will start off partly cloudy but isolated showers and thundershowers can be expected by the evening. Thursday brings with it a fresh north easterly wind, according to the South African Weather Service.
The eastern half of the province will be cloudy south of escarpment at first, otherwise the region will be partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers from the afternoon. A strong north easterly wind is anticipated along the coast.
The western half of the province will, at first, be cloudy in places in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and hot to very hot.
By the afternoon those living in the area can expect isolated showers and thundershowers. Winds along the coast will be a moderate north easterly, later becoming a south westerly which will be strong by the evening.
The weather service has warned of severe thunderstorms over parts of the province and high fire danger conditions in northern parts of the province...
