Tributes are pouring in following the death of Eastern Cape taxi boss Noluntu Mahashe.
The SANTACO leader has been the face of the taxi industry for many years. Transport MEC Weziwe Tikana confirmed Mahashe's passing.
"Mahashe passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning," said Tikana.
She described the late Mahashe "as a gallant warrior and a true patriot ... who dedicated her entire life to struggle of the people"...
