Spreading hope across South Africa

Add Hope is a joint collaboration between KFC, their Franchisees, their customers and beneficiary organisations that annually provide more than 30 million meals to over 150,000 kids. For many of them, this is often their only secure source of food. The lockdown in South Africa has resulted in schools being closed and many of their feeding programmes being forced to close.

This prompted KFC South Africa to find an alternative solution for not only the kids but their families that have been impacted. Add Hope thus changed strategy to distributing emergency food parcels to provide much needed relief to entire family groups in affected communities. To date the number of meals delivered during lockdown stands at one million ninety-nine thousand one hundred sixty, and this number continues to rise daily.
