Personal protective equipment will be delivered to schools on Sunday as the Eastern Cape gears up for the reopening of the academic year for matriculants and Grade 7s on June 1

Education superintendent-general Themba Kojana said on Thursday that pupils would undergo orientation classes at schools.

The PPE is meant for pupils and staff. One person will receive  two reusable cloth masks on a once-off basis.
