It comes after the power utility had downgraded to stage 1 from 9am on Wednesday, saying it had successfully returned to operation generation units at the Medupi and Majuba power stations on Tuesday.
Unit 2 at Koeberg was also synchronised into the grid on Monday, allowing it to move to stage 1. However, Eskom said units remained down at the Tutuka and Kendal power stations.
