CALL FOR BENEFICIARIES | Spar Daily Dispatch Virtual Fun Run for Disability 2021

The SPAR Daily Dispatch Fun Run is back, but this time we’re going virtual! Choose your route and your distance, and run with your family or friends on Sunday, 7 November 2021.

This virtual run will be done in aid of a locally registered Non-profit Organisation focussed on supporting individuals with disabilities. We hope that this run will be a reminder about being grateful for all we can do and being inspired by those with disabilities while running in support of them.

Daily Dispatch and SPAR is calling on all disability organisations to apply and be considered as the beneficiary to the 2021 SPAR Daily Dispatch Virtual Fun Run for Disability!

CRITERIA

Non-profit organisations must meet the following criteria

  1. Must be a registered non-profit organisation operating in the Eastern Cape, and the funds should be used to serve the Eastern Cape community.
  2. The organisation’s core purpose must be to assist, support and develop disabled individuals.
  3. Must be in operation for a minimum period of three years at the time of applying.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

If you meet the above-mentioned criteria, please supply the following documentation

  1. NPO Certificate
  2. Letter of motivation detailing why the organisation must be selected as a beneficiary.
  3. Wish list, detailing the needs of the organisation, how the funding will be used.
  4. Overview of all projects aimed at assisting disabled individuals.
  5. List of existing donors.
  6. Accomplishments over the years
  7. Two reference letters from past donors
  8. Proof of registration with SARS as an NPO
