An East London man is expected to appear in court on Tuesday for possession of drugs.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Hazel Mqala said members of the Duncan Village visible policing unit recovered 20 boss mandrax tablets to the estimated value of R1,600 and R1,150.
She said the 32-year-old suspect was arrested on Tuesday.
