BCM offer R10,000 to striking workers

Buffalo City Metro has offered to pay R10,000 to more than 5,000 of its employees as compensation after failing to fully implement the job evaluation process, which was scheduled to start last year.
Samwu regional secretary Zolani Ndlela related the offer to thousands of employees gathered at the Orient Theatre on Thursday morning.
The new offer comes after BCM bosses rejected the R100,000 which was demanded by the workers last week...
