EFF councillor dies in crash

The Economic Freedom Fighters has lost one of their councillors, Sabelo Hoyo, who died on Friday in a fatal car accident in the Free State.
The 37-year-old father of three was travelling back to East London when he reportedly drove into oncoming traffic in his brand new car which he had travelled to Johannesburg to fetch.
EFF chief whip Phindiwe Kaba said the accident happened on Friday in Kroonstad. "We have lost a good fighter in Sabelo, we are saddened by his loss. He started the EFF with all of us in 2013 and he played a very big role in building the party. We have lost a fighter who was a ground worker and helped build student commands and branches."
BCM council speaker Alfred Mtsi sent a message to all councillors on Monday informing them of the "tragic passing".
He said "it is with sadness to announce the tragic passing of councillor Sabelo Hoyo, our prayers are with his family during this time"...
