Rare dolphin washes up on Nahoon beach

A rare striped dolphin was found washed up at Nahoon beach on Tuesday morning.
The 2.6m mammal was dead, although East London Museum spokesperson Kevin Cole said it was not displaying any signs of injury.
“Sightings of this dolphin are rare. I haven't seen one in a decade or more,” Cole said.
“These beautiful dolphins are usually found in tropical and more temperate waters. You usually find them way out in the deep.”
Cole estimated the male dolphin to be between eight and 10 years old...
