OPINION | We must get past those constant denials


Denial is not a river in Egypt. It’s a state South Africa enters each year at budget time, when the headlines sing the praises of the miracle performed by the National Treasury, led by the finance minister. The minister, in his speech, denies that government debt will surpass a certain level of GDP.
