ANC shuts door to criminal record holders

Nobody with a criminal record would make it onto the ANC’s nomination list, the party announced yesterday.

ANC provincial secretary Lulama Ngcukayitobi said this rule would be followed to the letter when the party started its nomination processes at branch level from next month.
