Twitter throws a #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty following Calvin Harris rant

Twitter users have reacted angrily (and with a touch of humour) to reports of Taylor Swift claiming to have written Calvin Harris’ latest hit‚This Is What You Came For.

A representative for the US pop singer confirmed to People this week that Taylor wrote the song with Calvin‚ under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg.

But Calvin didn’t take kindly to his ex trying to make him “look bad” and went on an angry Twitter rant‚ saying he would not let Taylor bury him like she has so many artists before.

Calvin’s comments soon trended on Twitter‚ with fans weighing in on the situation.

Even Taylor’s arch-enemy Katy Perry seemed to get in on the action‚ posting a gif that many saw as a response to Calvin’s tweets‚ and then retweeting a previous post that read “Time‚ the ultimate truth teller“.

But just a few hours after the DJ’s comments were first posted‚ fans who had sided with Calvin returned to the platform to throw a mock party for Taylor Swift‚ calling it the #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty.
