Here is this week’s list of cool things happening this weekend.

Berlin November

THE annual Berlin November traditional horse-racing handicap takes centre-stage this weekend. The event is not only about the horses but the public can also look forward to performances by artists such as KO, DJ Bongs and Heavy K, among many. Free entry but revellers will pay to enter the various tents.

Paige is on the way to EL

ISIDINGO actor Maurice Paige is coming to East London tomorrow for the Jumbo store opening at Arcadia. Jumbo will be opening their new flagship store in Arcadia (Bowls Road) tomorrow morning from 7am to 7pm. Jumbo brand ambassador and long-distance running star Lusapho April as well as Paige, actor Calvin from Isidingo, will both be in attendance at the store on the day.

Pokemon go!

THE Pokemon go Xmas edition in aid of Jamie-lee Johnson and the East London Children’s Home is on this Saturday from 9am to 3pm at Nautical Hall inside the Gonubie Hotel. Fee is R10 for Jamie-lee and a wrapped toy for the children’s home. For more details, contact, 072-620-8339.

DYNAMIC duo live band Phoenix Rising will be performing at Hams Club tomorrow from 6pm till late.

Party time with DJ Kade

COME party and dance to great music with Quentin at Comrades Club tomorrow from 8.15pm till late. Entry is R10.
