Trollip names mayoral committee in Bay

The  Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Mayor Athol Trollip yesterday anounced his mayoral committee. Democratic  Alliance (DA)’s Trollip said the team of the  highly-skilled councillors included  members of  the party’s  coalition partners who form part of the DA-led multiparty government in the Bay.

“This administration plans to secure considerable savings through the trimming of the bloated bureaucracy of political appointments, some of which will be used to fund these additional positions, all in the interest of ensuring better service delivery and accountability,”said Trollip.
