Sex assault claims disputed in court

    Claims of sexual assault from 11 housekeepers at a luxury Eastern Cape game reserve were yesterday said to be a ploy to get money from their boss.

    The women’s claims they were violated after money disappeared were contested by defence advocate Dave de la Harpe in the Grahamstown Magistrate’s Court.

    The women, who do housekeeping duties at the exclusive Kariega game reserve near Kenton-on-Sea, are suing the world-famous game farm for more than R4-million.
