Shops selling rotten meat

East London shoppers have complained of at least two shops in Mdantsane selling rotten meat.

The Saturday Dispatch visited the stores this week after receiving complaints and found food past its expiry date still on the shelves.

Concerned shopper Mandisa Mpahlwa said she was buying groceries for her stokvel when she saw that some meat at the Rhino’s Cash and Carry in Highway in Mdantsane was old.
