A 40th birthday party turned to tragedy when a father shot his three young children dead before killing himself.
Family members said Siyabulela Maziko, 40, a taxi owner, killed his sons Luyolo, eight, Someleze, three, and his one-year-old daughter Iminathi.
The four will be buried on Saturday at their home in Caweni village in Kwaaiman near Mqanduli, where the shooting happened.
The family spokesman, his elder brother Makhosonke Maziko, said the children’s mother and other family members had been spared.
