Public Protector advocate Thuli Madonsela is expected to address law students at the University of Fort Hare (UFH) in East London on this morning.
Madonsela’s office confirmed that she will be at the event. Spokesman Oupa Segalwe said Madonsela had been invited by the university.
“She is going to deliver a speech at the university‚” he said.
UFH law students council organiser Qhawe Sosibo said Madonsela will be first introduced to lecturers before delivering her speech.
“She’s already in town and will be motivating students as they prepare for exams. This is not part of the university’s centenary celebrations‚” Sosibo said.
