Two satanic murder accused convicted

Two of four people accused of killing Kirsty Theologo were found guilty of murder, attempted murder and assault today.

Linden Wagner and Robin Harwood were found guilty of all three charges by the High Court in Johannesburg, sitting in Palm Ridge. They are yet to be sentenced.

Harvey Isha was acquitted of all charges while Courtney Daniels was found guilty of common assault.

Daniels was found guilty after it was established that she poured brake fluid into the drinks of Theologo and her friend.

Her lawyer, Enrico Guarneri asked the court to give Daniels a fine or suspended sentence as she was a first time offender.

Daniels was sentenced for six months which was suspended for five years on condition that she was not found guilty of assault again.

The four were on trial for murder and attempted murder, they had pleaded not guilty.

Theologo died of her injuries in hospital a week after an apparent Satanic ritual on a hill in Linmeyer, Johannesburg, in October 2011. Her 14-year-old friend was also assaulted but survived the attack.
