Partygoers will ring in the New Year with some of the biggest names in South African music when East London hosts the first Countdown Music Festival.
Dotyeni said they have also opened an opportunity for students to work with them while they plan the event.
The students are currently studying in various fields such journalism, finance, tourism, business management and law.
“These students have been given an opportunity to work with established companies and sponsors of the festival such as Business Connexion and MMV Attorneys,” he said.
The Countdown Music Festival will take place on December 31 at the Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium. Dotyeni said general tickets for the show cost R150 and VIPs were R1500 and were available at Computicket.
