Time to win a car again

Drive  away with a brand new Peugeot 208 in the latest edition of The Daily Dispatch and Peugeot East London Win-a-Car competition!

Last year’s winner, Valencia Koza, 57, a mother of three and retired teacher, won the grand prize after dropping 21 entries into the competition box.

“I am a regular reader and buyer of the Daily Dispatch, a tradition I adopted from my dad,” she said.

At the time, Koza did not have her driver’s licence and since then has been very ill with diabetes and has given up on ever obtaining her licence.

“I saw it best for me to give my car to my first child Zintle, who did not have a car.”

Pretoria-based Zintle Koza, who works in the department of international relations and cooperation, said she was overjoyed with her mother’s gift.

“I love the car to bits. She is fuel efficient and user friendly. I only spend R500 on petrol, as opposed to the R700 I used to spend on taxis, and she gets me anywhere I want in my own time.”

Zintle currently has a learner’s licence, but plans to get her driver’s licence soon.

Khoza encouraged people to buy the Daily Dispatch and take part in this year’s win-a-car competition: “You never know when your lucky day may be.”

Daily Dispatch marketing manager Suren Packery said it was a pleasure to have the competition for the fourth year running.

“Thank you to Peugeot East London for their partnership for the last four years.

“The lives of our last three winners and their families were changed when they won their prizes and we look forward to doing it again on June 19.

“Good luck to all the participants, and remember the more entries you submit, the more chances you have to win; this year it could be you!” — mbalit@dispatch.co.za
