Traffic on Beacon Bay’s Batting Road was disrupted this morning after a Daily Dispatch vendor was knocked down by a motorist.
Driver Lunga Qandashe, who had been travelling down Batting Road in an attempt to connect with the North-East Expressway, said he had been trying to avoid an accident with another vehicle when he noticed the vendor standing between two lanes.
The vendor's details and the extent of her injuries are currently still sketchy.
Paramedics were on the scene when the Daily Dispatch arrived. The lane for outbound traffic was closed as traffic officials took down the details of the accident.
