The power utility got off to a good start on Friday morning‚ tweeting cheerfully: “Good morning. The load shedding prognosis for today is low. Thank you to those who heed the call to save electricity.”
Thursday marked the 12th consecutive day that no power cuts were undertaken – three days longer than Eskom’s nine-day outage-free streak in July.
Thursday morning’s outlook was similar to Friday: “The probability of load shedding is low for day”‚ and gone was the almost-standard “…medium for the evening” addition.
