DJ Arch junior's dad defends 'SA's Got Talent' winner over audio cable sceptics

DJ Arch Junior’s South Africa’s Got Talent success — which netted him prize money of R500‚000 — was temporarily caught up in controversy today when Twitter users questioned whether his decks had been plugged in.

The sceptics prompted the three-year-old’s dad to post an explanation on the tot’s Facebook page.

“I was suppose to drop you a cool mix this morning but I think we must take this opportunity to educate our friends smile emoticon‚” the post read.

“So I am sure you have came across picture saying ‘no audio out cables‚ so the mix was fake’ smile emoticon‚ was my mix that good that people thought it was fake?...

“Normally when you use a computer and a controller you have 2 options when it comes to audio out‚ it is either you go with the computers audio out or the controllers audio out.

“Usually I use the controllers audio out but it gave us a buzzing sound so we had to go with the computers audio out‚ makes no difference really.”

The post shared photos to demonstrate how the cables worked‚ followed by this message: “#?TeamDjArchJnr ?#?Each1Teach1 Reloop — Solutions for DJs“.
