ANC MPs won't says sorry to Madonsela

The African Christian Democratic Party’s Steve Swart said he personally apologised‚ but believed the committee should do so too.

At her last budgetary presentation before the committee‚ Madonsela came under heavy fire from ANC MPs on the committee who criticised her presentation‚ interrupted her and‚ when opposition members attemped to intervene‚ they remarked about her “friends in the DA“.

But committee chair Mathole Motshekga and other ANC MPs were not keen on the idea of apologising.

Motshekga said that it would be a “waste of time” to focus on “party-political disputes“.

ANC MP Bongani Bongo said they should not apologise but should focus on the already full day’s programme.
