Several injured when bus overturned outside Ngcobo

Several people have been injured, of which three are critical, when a double-decker bus overturned about 25km’s outside Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape this morning.

According to officials, 43 people were injured when the driver lost control of the vehicle and turned onto its side.

Emergency rescue medics from surrounding towns and two helicopters were on the scene to assist.

Motorists traveling between Elliott and Ngcobo were advised to use an alternative route.
