ANC struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela is scheduled to undergo “follow up” surgery to her back on Thursday. This follows her hospitilisation last month where she underwent surgery on March 8.
A statement on the matter distributed to media houses by a friend and attributed to Zodwa Zwane, Madikizela-Mandela’s PA, did not say what procedure the former President of the ANC Women’s League had last month or what the follow up surgery would entail.
“The family is thankful of your prayers and support whilst they appreciate your respect for their privacy,” the statement read.
